Dear Friends,

Finding the right place for you or a loved one can be very difficult. You have to consider location, type of facility, level of care, amenities, rates, types of rooms and so much more. It can be overwhelming. At Ivy House Assisted Living we want to make finding the right home experience easy and stress free for you and your family.

            Our Marketing Director will meet with you for a tour of the facility. She will show you several types of suites ranging from a triple occupancy room to a private room and private bath. She will tell you what amenities and services we offer, such as Medication Supervision, Personal Care Assistance, Dietary Supervision, Our Hair and Nail Salon, Daily Social Events, Library Service, Appointment and Transportation Services and much more. You can ask questions and address any concerns you may have, we are flexible and are always willing to go the extra mile to make you happy and comfortable.

            You can meet with our Director of Nursing to ask questions and discuss medical concerns you may have. We do offer medication supervision along with convenience ordering for your medications. One of the great things about Ivy House is we have a nurse on duty 24 hours a day so you can receive all the care you need and remain in a home-like atmosphere. We are not just assisted living but also residential care. We have a campus Gerontologist, Psychologist, Podiatrist and Family Practice Doctor to meet all your medical needs. We also offer outside services such as physical therapy, respiratory therapy, Hospice, Respite Care and any other services you may need.

            While touring you can stop in the kitchen to see what our Dietary Manager has cooking. Our dietary menu meets all state standards and rates excellent in taste. Our menus of home-cooked meals are family recipes and chef created entrees. From a simple soup and deli sandwich to stuffed ravioli and gourmet cheesecake, we can meet all your dietary needs.

            In the living room or dining area you will find residents gathered together for activities. Our Activities Director provides a program of diverse activities for all skill levels, from intricate beading and discussion groups to memory and stimulation exercises. We also offer a physical fitness program ranging from wheelchair exercises to jazzercise and upbeat dancing exercises. Along with an Ivy House newsletter, our residents publish their own paper called “The Ivy Voice”, filled with residents’ articles and ideas.

            Ivy House is a wonderful place we want you to experience. If you don’t make an appointment for a tour, it’s okay. Our friendly staff is always willing to give a tour at any time of day. We are just around the corner, so please stop by and see what we have to offer at Ivy House, a place for rest and relaxation, because here you’re never far from home.
